# Auto-decline events on Google Calendar

To keep your time-off distraction-free, Pause can auto-decline meeting requests during a leave period. This also keeps teams informed well in advance so projects can stay on track.

## To set up the Auto-decline events feature:

**Step 1:** Go to your **Profile** in the top right corner.

**Step 2:** Select the **Preferences** tab on the left.

**Step 3:** Turn on **Auto-decline events in Google calendar** using the toggle.

**Step 4 (Optional):** Write an **Out of Office message** that is sent every time your events are auto-declined by Pause.
