# Create a new team on Pause

To create a new team, you need to be an [admin](https://intercom.help/pause/en/articles/4865841-assign-a-teammate-as-an-admin).

**Step 1:** Click on the **Teams** icon on the navigation bar.

**Step 2:** Click on the **Create New Team** button on the top right. A side panel will appear on the right.

**Step 3:** Enter the Team's **Name,** select and **Approver** and select **Working Days.**

**Step 4:** Click the **Add Team** button to create the new team.
