# Get birthday and work anniversary notifications on Slack

With the Pause-Slack integration, you can set up **Special Notifications** to notify all teams about upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries.

Only [admins](https://support.getpause.com/en/article/make-a-teammate-an-admin-gh6acw/) can enable this feature.

## Some prerequisites to enable Special Notifications:

Before you get started, please ensure that Pause has been [integrated with Slack.](https://support.getpause.com/en/article/how-to-integrate-pause-with-your-slack-workspace-oc9dgr/)

Please ensure that teammates have [set their dates of birth and work anniversaries on their personal profiles](https://support.getpause.com/en/article/to-change-your-profile-details-on-pause-p1al8g/). If a teammate hasn't set this information, your teams won't be notified about it on Slack.

If you're an admin and you have access to these details, you can [add them to team members' profiles yourself](https://support.getpause.com/en/article/update-birthdays-and-work-anniversaries-for-members-1pzq3cq/).
