To set up a non-deductible leave policy, you need to be an admin. Non-deductible leave options include menstrual leave, parental leave, burnout leave and bereavement leave.

Set up non-deductible leave type

Step 1: Select the Leave Policy icon on the top navigation bar.

Step 2: Under the Non-deductible L eaves section, click on + Add New Type. A panel will open up on the right side.

Step 3: Enter the Name, Description and Other Settings in the right panel.

The description can be used to add a suggested limit. This reduces any ambiguity a teammate might face while applying for this leave type.

Step 4: Click on Create Leave.

The new leave policy will now be applicable to all your teammates.

Edit a non-deductible leave type

Step 1: Select the Leave Policy icon on the top navigation bar.

Step 2: Select the leave you want to edit.

Step 3: Edit the details you want to change from the right panel.

Step 4: Click Save to confirm the edit. This will now be visible to your entire organisation.
