Get personalised birthday and work anniversary notifications on Slack

With the Pause-Slack integration, you can set up Special Notifications to notify all teams about upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries.

To set up this feature, you'll need to ensure Pause has been integrated with your Slack team.

Some prerequisites to enable Special Notifications:

Before you get started, please ensure that Pause has been integrated with Slack.

Please ensure that teammates have set their dates of birth and work anniversaries on their personal profiles. If a teammate hasn't set this information, you would not be notified about it.

If you're an admin and you have access to these details, you can add them to team members' profiles yourself.

To set up Special Notifications:

Step 1: Go to the Profile page on the top navigation bar.

Step 2: Select the Preferences option on the left side panel.

Step 3: Select the Slack tab and under the Special Notifications section, turn on the Birthdays/Work anniversaries toggle.

Step 4: Select the Frequency of receiving the notifications
