How to delete a leave-type
There are 2 cases when deleting a leave-type.
There are no leaves applied under that leave-type
There are existing leaves applied under that leave-type
All leave-types other than your default leave-type can be deleted. You must have atleast one leave-type at all times.
If there are no leaves under that leave-type applied yet then you can go to your leave-policy page (https://app.getpause.com/leave-policy), click on the leave-type you want to delete and click on the red "Delete" button at the bottom of the panel that appears from the right.
If your org has leaves applied under the leave-type you want to delete then the above method won't let you delete it. In that case you need to contact customer support and ask them to delete the leave-type.
When a leave-type is deleted, data of all leaves applied under that leave-type is also deleted. Please take an export of your data before asking customer support to delete that leave-type (Export leave-related data for your organisation)
In your message to customer support please mention these things:
Name of the leave-type to delete
Confirmation that you have exported your data
There are no leaves applied under that leave-type
There are existing leaves applied under that leave-type

If your org has leaves applied under the leave-type you want to delete then the above method won't let you delete it. In that case you need to contact customer support and ask them to delete the leave-type.
